Now, you are thinking, How long should my magic show be? Right, don’t worry. After reading this article, you’ll know what should be the average length of your show and what different packages you should have.
On average most magicians prefer 45 mins as the ideal length of a Magic show. But some events require you to perform for as long as 90 mins as well.
Based on event requirements, you should decide the length of your magic show. If it’s a birthday party, then 45 mins is a standard performing time.
What you can do is You can have three different packages.
- 30 – 45 mins
- 50 – 70 mins
- 1 hr – 90 mins
I don’t recommend shows longer than 90 mins, especially if it’s your first show, then go with what is ideal, that is 30- 45 mins of magic performance, as it is difficult to hold people’s attention and entertain them for such a long period. It’s a fair bet.
Another thing you can do is prepare a 40 mins show, and if some spectator shows interest, increase your show time based on factors like that.
